School-based chess classes
Chess Mates delivers engaging chess programs in schools across South-East Queensland, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
Designed for students from Prep and up, our classes are fun, interactive, and tailored to suit each group, ensuring every child stays engaged and continues to develop their skills.
What to expect
Classes run for 30–60 minutes, depending on your school.
Lessons are tailored to each age group - with younger students learning through stories, games, and interactive activities, while older students develop their skills through more advanced strategy and game play.
Each session begins with a short, interactive lesson, followed by games and puzzles where students apply what they’ve learned with guidance from their coach.
